Sayang sya nung 1992 election, kung di lang sya dinaya ni Ramos eh naging presidente na sana siya..

First of all, the thread is WHO is your President/VP. - You didn't even answer it.
Second, past her prime? And so is Enrile aged 91, Sergio Osmena 71, and Franklin Drilon 70 and yet they are all still functioning well and has been doing an okay job in addressing national issues. So can you expand more on "wala pa sa hulog mga sinasabi nya? Link us an article.
About Bongbong, tell us how big liar he is like Binay. Was it because he allegedly earned a “diploma in political science” from Oxford University? Or you have more revelations? Interesting!

Your comparison is a big kind of joke. Compare a senator from a president? But ok, analyze this first before making a comment. In the US, bukod tanging ang Presidente lang ang may air force and an official presidential state car. Dito pa lang makikita mo na ang malaking pagkakaiba ng dalawa.
Beside, we are not talking about their age. Binay for your info is already in 70's pero malakas pa sya kesa kalabaw kaya pwedeng pwede pang maging presidente pero di mo ba alam na si Mirriam ay sakitin at yun ang dahilan kaya di sya pwedeng maging presidente.

This is the same way when the old Marcos filed a false compensation in post war era claiming for wartime damages with the United States government claiming for almost $600,000 for 2,000 imaginary cattle of Mariano Marcos's.

Personally, analyzing their political backgrounds, presidentiable sa akin si Miriam...her past political exploits were really remarkable...she had it all, brains, connections, and GUTS. ..oh yes, GUTS....that bitchy superior attitude no one can level up with....all staight talk and ass kicking, brain draining arguments..think about her as a little perky Commando. hehehe...
pero sakitin sya lately...and her diagnosis aint that good...para saken magaling sya...but pareho sila ni Duterte...'mainit' ...wag naman sana, madaliin...but if she wont get well from her illness...probably when elected as President, surely, she'll be receiving a lot of death threats from her political rivals.
i'd rather have her as a legislator...parang ALARM CLOCK ...pampagising...taga kalampag ng mga tulog na isip sa senado at congress...and since she's not well at the moment...i dont think being elected as President will do her well...it'll be much beneficial to the country to keep her as thus....she's too precious to lose in such a stressful situation...worse, baka iassassinate pa yan ng wala sa oras...(wag naman sana) oh hell...but i have to admit....I LOVE HER GUTS. ...perky little Commando. :peace:

Check nyo ang lifestyle ng mga presidentiables. Tingnan nyo kung sino pinaka-pangit ang bahay, kung sino ang pinakapangit ang sasakyan. Jan pa lang makita nyo na kung sino ang kurakot at kung sino ang matino. 911 sa davao city nyo lang makikita sa pilipinas. To think magkano ang binibigay na share ng davao sa national government. Task force davao, ginastusan talaga ni mayor para additional protection sa davaoenos. Hanggat di ka nakapunta ng davao, hindi mo talaga ma-appreciate ang ginawa ni duterte. Wag nyo i-judge ang tao sa nababasa nyo lang sa balita dahil ang balita hindi kumpleto.

. . . . . hotstuff talagah yang si Duterte, kanya na ang Davao at kay Binay naman ang Makati..but the point is hindi lang naman sa pamamalakad ng local government such as Makati and Davao ang pagpapalakad ng isang gobyerno...wherein, mas nakararami ang corrupt na kasapi nito. But nevertheless, Duterte is a strong contender and obviously marami syang followers.

This is just my opinion and we are all free to form our own.
To be honest nahihirapan din ako. I like Mirriam, I think she has the brains, I'm just not too sure she's taking this election as seriously as she did way back in 1992.
Roxas is an idiot. The guy is so out of touch with the country, nothing is going to change that.
Binay is a crook. Guy wants his kin to be the next royal family of the Philippines. Plunder, plunder everywhere.
Duterte. Man I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt pero habang tumatagal I'm getting tired of his antics. I'm also seeing some kind of cult of personality forming around him. Some of his fans are foaming at the mouth and it turns me off.
I was rooting for him, pero he is making it hard for me to take him seriously with all these baloney.
There is a proverb: if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
You can't just kill and maim your way out of the problem. I'de like to see a different side of him. He seems so one dimensional and that's just not good enough.
This dream can turn into a nightmare quick, be careful of what you wish for.
Grace Poe - I don't really know why she is running. She says she's new, and she's clean. Okay yan, she is a sheep, sparkling clean sheep. But what does a sheep do when surrounded by wolves? Marcos was a wolf, Erap was a wolf, they got their behinds handed to them. She gives me the impression that she wouldn't last a day if she doesn't play ball with the demons of this country.
For Vice:
This must be the most lackluster and boring vice ever. Wala baka blank.
It's a toss up between Bong Bong and Caetano siguro. Depende nalang sa mga maririnig ko sa kanina before the election.
Robredo sounds good on paper, but I'm getting tired of the poor widow shtick. Anyway what does a vice do anyway. Kumikilos lang naman yan mga yan kung may balak tumakbo as president. Hence the epal vice Binay.

@Dimmu Borgir < just for the record, i'm not or wait... rather is it you who's really sensitive? Obviously I'm expecting people here to share who are they rooting for, doesn't matter how other threads goes on and yet for nth time again you didn't even answer.
The way you criticize Miriam for her colorful remarks on certain issues tells me something that you dislike her for that personally, and yet I was actually waiting for something more. Something that will convince me otherwise that she's not competent enough to run for the position.
As for the health reasons, remind you several US Presidents like Ronald Reagan was medically unfit to run for the position, and yet they delivered. Same with Sen. Miriam, she's aware of the risks to her health and is prepared mentally and physically for it. There's always a risk in everything.
Di mo ba naisip na despite that she suffered from that chronic disease she is still serving this country and doing her job as efficient as she can. She could have ended her term, she could have retired knowing it will be a risk to her health.

Because back in college, during my political science subject, na discuss na namin itong si Reagan at yung sinasabi ng anak nya na may Alzheimer Disease daw ito na pinabulaanan naman mismo ng opisyal na doktor ng white house.. As far as I know kasi, may sariling doktor ang White House na siyang nagpoprovide ng medical care sa President, VP at sa kanilang families.
Mirriam admitted already that she is suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome kaya nga nag step down na sya nung 2014 as judge sa ICC dahil physically di na nya kaya. At nito lang July last year eh sinabi nyang meron syang stage 4 lung cancer.. Tapos gagawin mo syang presidente..
And you call it just a risk? Isang taong may stage 4 cancer tapos boboto mo pa ring presidente, kabobohan ang tawag dun..
Di ko kinukwestiyon ang mga naitulong nya sa atin. Isa ako sa mga tagahanga nya noon pa pero katulad din ni Kobe Bryant, panahon na nya para magretire.. Di ibig sabihin na magaling ka noon eh habambuhay eh magaling ka na..

Seriously speaking, I'd vote for Miriam if she wasn't dying. Her intelligence is only paralleled by her will and determination. Since she probably might die, and Bongbong is corrupt, I'd have to go for Duterte. Yes, he's wacko, but that's just a minor detail. If you watch his speeches and interviews, those crazy things just comprise of 2% of the whole thing (yey for accurate news). He has the vision and drive for complete structural change for the better. Also, he's the only person by far in the past how many elections to be smart enough to push for a Federal state (which will decentralize clogging in NCR and boost quality of life and economies in all provinces)
As for VP, I vote Leni. I've met with her and she is very intelligent and capable.

Personally, I like the idea of federalism simply because it brings a better solution sa mga current issues na hinaharap natin ngayon.. Metro Manila is very congested already at may mga nagsasabi na ngang uninhabitable na ito by 2020 due to several factors. kahit pa sabihin na nating medyo exaggerated ito di pa rin maikakaila na may posibilidad na mangyari ito kung kaya't dapat ngayon pa lang eh ikalat na sa mga probinsya ang development at di na lang magtutok sa Manila.
But eventhough I like federalism, nawawala na sa appetite ko si Duterte as a president..
Before gusto ko sya siguro dahil sa mga accomplishment nya as Mayor at kilala sya bilang "tigasin" at disiplinado.
But in the last few weeks or months, a disgusting Duterte ang nakikita ko. Cursing the pope is one of the negative na ginawa nya pero ok lang sana. Then heto na naman sya, humamon sya ng away laban kay Roxas tapos nung pinatulan eh umurong naman ang bayag. Then when it comes to Binay, paiba iba ang statement nya.. Andun na suportado nya pero andun naman na i critize nya..
Pero in the end I really know na ang boto kay Duterte eh boto mo na rin kay Binay.. There is a story behind this two guys and I know it..
Davao is a city that full of myth. But if you dig deeper to it, dun mo makikita ang tunay nyang kalagayan.
While it is true na mababa ang street crime sa lugar na ito, simply because of the Davao Death Squad na kahit bata ka pa basta noturyos ka sa paggawa ng crime eh may paglalagyan ka, pero aside from this eh wala na.
Eh lalo namang di drug free ang Davao dahil last year lang eh may natagpuang shabu lab ang PDEA dito. At marami ring pusher na na nahuhuli dito ang mga pulis.
But the latest pronouncement nya na within 6 months daw pagkatapos nyang manalo eh magkakaroon na tayo ng "peace" is really disturbing.
Sa Davao nagkaroon lang nito kasi kaibigan nya si Kumander Parago at ibinigay nya ang Paquibato District bilang lungga nila meron ngang mga lider lumad na nagsasabi na sa mga lugar na kontrol ng npa eh andun ang malalawak na plantasyon ng marijuana na di kayang alisin ni Duterte.
Eh paano kaya pag presidente na sya, hahati hatiin nya ba ang Pinas para ibigay sa MILF, BIFF, ASG, RSG, NPA, etc. para magkaroon tayo ng peace.. at gagawa sya ng liquidation squad all over the Philippines para patayin ang mga small time criminals?
