Why Aquino vetoed Magna Carta for the poor? ??? :o >:(

President Benigno Aquino III has vetoed the Magna Carta for the poor, noting the absence of a provision which gives the government ample time to provide for basic demandable rights.
The government recognizes basic rights listed in the final bill submitted by Congress, Aquino said at the sidelines of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines’ fifth anniversary.
These include rights to food, employment and livelihood, quality education, shelter and basic health services and medicine.
He particularly pointed to a provision of the bill which said: "The government shall, as a matter of duty and obligation, provide the requirements, conditions, and opportunities for the full enjoyment of these rights of the poor and which the poor can demand as a matter of right."
But the President highlighted the need to include the phrase "progressive realization" on the part of the government, which he admitted may not be able to immediately provide for these rights.
To stress his point, Aquino said the national budget, which stands at P2.006 trillion this year, will still be unable to provide for the housing needs alone, which has been pegged at five million units.
"So, sa madaling salita, pwede akong nagpa-cute. Pwede kong pinirmahan itong batas na 'to, pogi tayo, pero alam ko hindi mami-meet ng gobyerno (In other words, I could have signed this bill to look good, but I know the government can't live up to it)."
The veto does not mark the death of the Magna Carta for the poor, however, with the President noting that he has ordered his Cabinet to draft a new law.
"Our corrective action here is to direct our social cluster to draw up a substantive measure that we will give to the next Congress, and hopefully, they will act upon it with haste," Aquino said.

So big sabihin ang mga nagpapakapagod magtrabaho ng matino ay kelangan magbayad ng tax para mapakain ang mga mahihirap na (hindi lahat) nakatambay at naghihintay ng rasyon?
Bakit hindi sya magconcentrate sa edukasyon pra tulungan ng mahihirap ang sarili din nila at pangmatagalan ang benepisyo (dahil sa edukasyon).
sinusulusyunan nya ang epekto ng problema ng pinas, pero hindi ang mismong dahilan ng problema.... hay, gudluck pinas.

kung bakit naman kasi si pnoy pa ang binoto noong nakaraan eh..obvious naman na trapo ito dahil palagi nyang pinangangalandakan ang mukha ng magulang nya..samantalang simula pa lang ng pagpasok nya sa politics eh wala naman talaga syang nagawa at napatunayan...think of it..3 years ka na sa term pero ni isang infrastructure wala ka pang nasisimulan...

Aquino for me, he is not perfect..
and also he is not corrupt..
We tried GMA, economist but look what she did to our country?
Today, we have investment grade, we are upgrading our AFP, Yes, we cannot feel it, but the important is we have improvement..
Just help our government, even it is not perfect, even it have some flaws, the most important our president is not corrupt..
Can u give me some names in last presidential candidate who is not corrupt?

Para sa akin lang, wala namang perprektong presidente, tao lang yan,...
lahat naman ng government eh may mga bad decision at may flaws..
pero bihira sa pulitiko ang di corrupt..
sabihin mo nga sir sa akin, sino ang di kurap sa nakaraang presidential election?

Ang presidente o sinomang pulitiko ay napapalitan lang. Ang importante ay ang magagawa ng mamamayan para sa ating bansa.
Para saan pa ang mga complex na batas kung ang simpleng No Smoking, Bawal Umihi Dito, Bawal Magtapon ng Basura Dito, etc... ay hindi nasusunod? Diba?

i agree with Dimmu Borgir.....for me Pnoy pa rin....and i believe na walang magagawa ang batas para pagbutihin ang buhay ng mga mahihirap not unless they exert efforts to do so. Most of us not only Filipinos always wants a shortcut to a better life...and the step to be in a better life starts a early as we can understand everything around us, this is the duty of our parents para ituro sa atin ang kahalagahan ng edukasyon at laging kasama nito ang pagsisikap.....Si Pnoy to his credit can not do it by himself, he needs the support of all people to stop corruption including those na nasa gobyerno upang ang budget ay magamit ng maayos sa dapat paggamitan....i always wonder how easy it is, but then again actual thing is really way beyond wondering.....i'm managing a simple group but i tell you, it will take all your effort to manage a small group to get better with some sleepless night...how much more if you are managing a whole country with different thinking, different ways of life, culture, etc....laws are as easy as not throwing trash to environment to committing treason but whatever the reason is, if you break the law wether somebody witness it or not, you are one of the people thats not following the law and the president can not by all means see everything....people should play their part in making the country a good place or better place to live.... it is not the president's responsibility alone.

ang presidente ko.. si gibo.. malaki ang laban nya kung bumaliktad sya kay gloria.. but he stood his ground.. lets face it.. if cory did not die.. pnoy would never win.. he won because of her mother... that is a fact.. and he may be doing a lot of good things.. but he was just a choice out of the situation.. if not for that.. he will still be in senate fighting for a seat..

Hindi ko din alam bakit ito.. ewan ko, hindi daw corrupt si Aquino, sabi nino sabi ng Media? sabi ng inquirer. basta ang alam ko, sa kaka pahold nya ng mga previous project na nai bid na ng administration eh, andaming umaasang magkatrabaho pero napending, kesyo dapat daw imbestigahan muna at magka rebidding, bakit kaya? bagong bidding? meron pa... yung congressman namin dito, hindi nya kaalyado kaya ayan, walang Pork Barrel, kaya ang mga scholar n Congressman d nakapasok last June, wla budget.
