There are reportably benefits to male circumcision. The potential area between the foreskin and the glands penis can harbor pathogens and is difficult to cleanse. This can lead to an increase risk of infections (including urinary tract infections) to a male and to his female parteners. Also, occassionaly the foreskin may become inflammed and may actually strangle the glands penis. However, risk of infection is low if the person practices acceptable personal hygiene and astute parents should be able to recognize the rare enstragled penile head in time for it to be fixed. So, yes, the primary reason for circumcision is societial pressures, not for medical reasons. However, the medical reasons provide the parents with a better justification for putting their little man through a painful and potentially deforming procedure than the traditional reason of "so that he will look like the other boys in the locker room."

Whether you agree with circumcision or vow to never snip your sons, the status of your penis is something you have to live with. But does the foreskin make a difference when it comes to your six life?
Yes, according to a recent study published in the British Journal of Urology International. Researchers from the National Organization of Circumcision Information Resources Center report that circumcision removes the five areas of the penis most responsive to light touch.
Debby Herbenick, M.P.H., Ph.D., Bedroom Confidential for Men's Health, isn't impressed by the report. "It was one small study, and it conflicts with other research," she says. "We don't know a lot about the penis and which parts are more or less sensitive."
Although it's nice to know how your johnson responds to fine touch, that's not necessarily the type of stimulation you may use, or enjoy, during six. "During intercourse you don't tend to use light touch; it's deeper, and different parts of the body become sensitive in different ways," Herbenick says.
If you're circumcised, Ian Kerner, Ph.D., a six therapist and author of She Comes First, says you may need more friction to reach orgasm. He recommends trying different positions, such as doggy style or missionary, that allow you to maximize stimulation. Or ask your woman to do Kegel exercises and squeeze her pelvic floor muscles, which will put more friction on the head of your penis.
"Men, circumcised or not, should have fun exploring with their partners," Herbenick says. "During oral six, ask her to use nice, light licks on the underside of your penis, which is sensitive regardless of circumcision. Try using both lighter and firmer touching during intercourse."
And if you still have your foreskin, take advantage of it. "The foreskin contains nerves, and if you roll it back and forth, it stimulates the frenulum," Kerner says, which is the one of the most sensitive parts of your penis.
The most important thing to do if you're uncircumcised is to make your partner comfortable. "Many women get freaked out by the foreskin," Kerner says. "Talk to her and let her know it's an area that responds to stimulation. Ask her to use her tongue and gently nibble during oral six."
But with fewer men being cut nowadays, it's not as big of an issue as in the past.
"Even if a woman isn't used to uncircumcised men, just as you become familiar with anything in the world, you see it a few times, touch it, talk to your partner about how you want to be touched, and women like them just the same," Herbenick says.
"That extra skin adds some surprise value the first time you unzip his pants, but that's about it," says Mandy, 26, of New York City. "A penis is a penis, and they are all plenty sensitive."

Don't get me wrong though, being circumcised does not guarantee cleanliness as well.
Although one advantage of having foreskin is that I was able to use the foreskin when giving handjobs to those guys without much lubrication.

actually in the end disadvantage pa nga ang circumcision e. nababawasan ng more than 50% ang pakiramdam ng ulo ng etits pag natuli na. kasi nga naman natutuyo ang ulo as compared to the moist penile head pag di pa tuli ang lalaki.
