Well I brought up this topic as this has been a discussion with my friends for the past year. What do you think about this saying? On my side I don't believe on this. Love is a word that could not be described but it could fade away depending on how couples define and apply it in reality. First love will be meaningful and memorable if you both part ways in good terms.

:-\ first love never dies... it all depends on the one saying those words... medyo malalim yan if both parties haven't gotten over their love for each other and then they suddenly happen to be back in each others arms yan pwedeng masabi na it never dies talaga... my first love was a beautiful one to remember and a quiet one to forget, its all over now.. she has her own family now living in the States...

I dont believe in this either ... As time goes by you still remember the person but the emotion fades away...maganda man or hindi ang paghihiwalay... Still para saken, lahat ng bagay sa mundong ito ay lumilipas.

Thanks bond and schy for sharing your thoughts. This saying could be applicable if your first love was then the one whom you've married. That might be luck or destiny, but I don't believe on destiny either. Luck maybe?

let see... ako naniniwala ako dito kasi para sa akin Love is a very strong feeling na hindi basta nawawala kahit pa years have passed by.
It's you love someone or you haven't really love her/him, if you really love her/him then no matter how tragic this love ends... hindi mo siya makakalimutan kasi naging part siya ng buhay mo....and this someone, you real first love always leave a mark in your memories na hindi mo makakalimutan parang math....noong matutunan natin ang 1+1 which is the beginning of our knowledge in math hindi natin kahit kailan malilimutan maliban na lang kapag may heavy memory loss tayo tulad ng amnesia....this is what i thought.

yeah I believe... but in memory only.
kahit sino tanungin mo pag tinanong kung sino ang first love nila agad agad masasagot nila kung sino. Kahit nun isang member sabi patay na, it means na naalala pa rin nya talaga kung sino ang first love.
bakit ba memorable ang first love, well of course halos dyan mo rin naransan ang lahat ng first mo.. Hindi lang first love as per se yun memorable... Nandyan din yun first time kang naihe sa pants mo dahil sa sobrang hiya.. Nandyan din yun frst time mong matameme dahil sa kakaisip mo sa first love mo. Nandyan din yun matsope ka sa harap ng maraming mong kaklasmeyt para harapin lang yun first love mo. Nandyan din kung first time mo kung jackpot ka at makakama mo ang first love mo..lol
all in all yun mga first memorable mo noon ay naransan mo sa first love mo.. mapa masaya man yan o mapalungkot hindi na mawawala sa pagkatao mo yan. Pag natatahimik ka lang sa isang sulok malaki ang chance na magpopop up sya sa utak mo. Malamang nga kaya natanong to ni TS eh dahil sumagi sa isipan nya ang kanyang first love :suka3: :suka3:

Hindi naman para skn kasi noon nakita ko first love ko nasa pinas pa ako wala yong spark , nacurious lang ako sa knya kaya ako ng attend ng family reunion pero ganun pala nawawala na yon love but sa kanya daw still love pa rin niya ako... Hehe ayoko maging kabit noh hahahha may asawa na siya at mga anak toink!

Not really. Sa tingin ko, if you're obsessed or fixated doon sa tao malamang this is how you would feel.
Pero first love never dies? Nah.. Baka super bihira siguro.
More often than not sa ganito, they tend to idealize someone even if it couldn't be any farther from the truth, sometimes they even have an axe to grind deep in their subconscious. Something to prove ba.

i dont think thats true because i deffinately loved my first love there was no way it wasnt real we were together 3 years on and off some good memories some bad but we broke up 3 years ago and now i am with someone new and love him truely and we are having a baby. i still think fondly of my first love and would help him out ever he needed it but i dont see myself that way with him anymore and i would never cheat on my now boyfreind with him even tho my first love has been trying to get back there is no getting back it isnt love anymore fondness and caring but ive moved on like people can and do with time. time heals everything. there is nothing it cant cure. it cured a brocken heart and loneleiness till i found someone knew thats loved me greater and never will i fall back for my first love so if you wanna say it dies i cant argue with that in a changing sort of way

No. I don't believe in first love never dies. Of all my past serious relationships, my feelings may have faded but I know that I still love each and every one of them and they will always have a place in my heart but not as big as the girl I'm with right now of course.

For me, hindi lang yung "first"
Love, in its truest simply don't die.
By relativity, the amount of love you feel for someone feels like it diminished or died down because you feel more for another.
That's just me.. hehehe

if your first love was a serious relationship, then i do believe that it will be hard to forget... there are so many first there for sure... first kiss... first date etc.... but you will also eventually learn to move on and that is the time you tend to forget that relationship little by little... however, there would still be little memories that will tend to make you remember and reminisce that time...

For me hindi lang ang "first love never dies", kasi once na nagmahal ka ng totoo kahit hindi pa yun first mahirap mo itong makalimutan. Kaya para sa akin ang "True love never dies" ang right phrase. ???

I somewhat agreed to that statement, nagkabalikan kami ng first girlfriend ko fifteen years after namin mag break up. Everything came back like yung feelings and all sa aming dalawa, mga moments at memories naming dalawa. It truly was a blissful for us having been in love again but there's a down side of it too, bumalik nga ang alaala niyo noon kasama narin ang dating issue at reason kaya kayo naghiwalay noon.
"First love never dies" yeah so does your issues. So I suggest to keep the first in the past and live in the present, siguro sa tamang panahon pwede kayong magkabalikan once you out grow what separated you in the first place. Yun lang. :peace:
