2-4yrs ang USUAL promotion next salary grade rank is 27-38k + company given benefits tapos from there 3-5 years ang usual course ng promotion for a salary of 44-57k rank + company given benefits. The next set of positions are now not given through the usual course of promotion but through specialization it might be na kahit entry level ka ay makukuha mo ito as long as you have proven your worth sa company with such specialization comes with a higher pay scale..

Sounds about right. Take note, though, Charliehouse's data is applicable for PH companies. Of course if you move abroad, salaries increase dramatically. :)

yep, it increases dramatically and so is da cost of living din abroad. malaki nga ang sweldo mo abroad pero yung pang araw-araw na gastos mo super laki din, tabla lang. I pay the equivalent of P73,100 to rent a 2-bedroom apartment dito sa LA to begin with.

Ano bang current jobless rate sa Pilipinas? One source says 7.5% while another puts it at 27% translating to 12 million people unemployed. It will be a cutthroat dog-eat-dog world sa mga bagong grads.
Unless you belong to the top echelon of this year's graduates, you'll probably grab the first job offer and beggars can't be choosers especially for unexperienced new grads. But it's nice to aim high.
