Vice President Jejomar Binay in Lucena City, Quezon province on Saturday said the reported “slam dunk evidence” provided by state witness Ruby Tuason against his allies Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile in the P10-billion pork barrel scam case was a “dud.”
“Can it demolish anything? Can it?” Binay said, laughing, when asked here for comment on the damning testimony of Tuason, who admitted to delivering millions of pesos in kickbacks to Estrada and Enrile from businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles, the alleged mastermind behind the P10-billion pork barrel scam.
Binay also questioned the plan of the Department of Justice to make Tuason a state witness.
Tuason is facing plunder charges along with Estrada, Enrile, Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. and several others for the alleged misuse of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
Tuason, who returned to the Philippines on Friday to testify for the prosecution in exchange for immunity and protection, has to show that she is the least guilty to be taken in as state witness.
Binay, Enrile and former President Joseph Estrada, now mayor of Manila, are the three leaders of the opposition United Nationalist Alliance.
The Vice President arrived in Lucena City at noon with Valenzuela Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian to speak at Freemasons installation rites and meet with his local allies, former Lucena Mayor Ramon Talaga Jr. and his sons, former Quezon Board Member Romano Talaga and former City Councilor Ramil Talaga.

Erap Estrada is the one funding his political ambitions, (well of course as everybody knows where they getting their oil for operation) it is not surprising anymore for the vp to defend his allies.
It can be true that Binay in some other criteria or way is almost qualified to run for President, But I'm somehow skeptical about his stand regarding the PDAF issue, given that Jinggoy Estrada is one of the culprits.

Baka yung inaakala niya na "Slam Dunk" win niya sa 2016 ang maging dud.
We are trying to get to the bottom of this corruption, and this @sshat isn't helping anyone. Atat na atat na kasi eh.
He has the uncanny ability to put his foot in his mouth though. He should let this one slide, it might bite him back pag na convict ang mga ito. (Maybe?)

pinapakita ni binay ang kanyang suporta sa kanyang partymates...
in case na maconvict sila... wag mag-alala... pag nanalo siya presidente... abswelto kaso nila.... :lr:

this makes me drop binay for Presidency.. But I can't take voting Mar Roxas, the latter had already shown his incompetence and immaturity.. I hope there will be somebody else

The Vice President is making fun of the government's efforts to prosecute the corrupt politicians who stole hundreds of millions of the people's money. Guess what he will do if he becomes President.
HE AND HIS COHORTS WILL STEAL EVERYTHING AND LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!

"birds of the same feather...".
