Activities for the first week of the month long Panagbenga Flower Festival 2014 are

February 1 at 7.00 am Opening Ceremonies - Panagbenga Park (corner of South Drive and Loakan Road)

February 1 at 8.00 am Grand Opening Parade: Drum and Lyre Band Competition (elementary division) - Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl, Burnham Park

February 1 to March 2 Market Encounter: Landscaping Exhibition and Exposition at Lake Drive, Burnham Park

February 1 to March 2 Ifugao Bamboo Art Exhibit by the Philippine Bamboo Foundation at White House, Leonard Wood Road

February 3 Chinese Spring Festival Parade at Session Road

February 3 to 9 IPMS Baguio 10th Invitationals and Open Cosplay Competition at SM City Baguio Atrium

February 5 at 10.00 am Inauguration of Department of Tourism Adopted Garden at BGHMC (Baguio General Hospital Medical Center) Garden's Park

February 7 at 6 pm Baguio's Ultimate Model Search by Viva La Events Prod. at Baguio Convention Center

February 8 at 5 pm Ginuman Fest 2014 Concert and Game Show at Melvin Jones Grandstand, Burnham Park;

More events each week throughout the month of February and into early March,

 following on from which will be the month long Strawberry Festival

in nearby La Trinidad, Benguet.

 if i can adjust my calendar and coincides with my boss' skeds, i will surely watched the flower fest.. Hmmm... It's kinda hard when that fest get startin', traffic, hassles in hotel bookings etc. Aside from you ms. Rai, i still have a contact with miss SUBZERO who also happens to be there.. Uhmmm... Wow! you got me thinking deep here.. Hahaha... Nice  reminder though but worth considering..

This is a nice experience to catch... payo ko lang sa mga first time na nagbabalak pumunta na may dalang sasakyan is to come here in the middle of the night para hindi matraffic...it is really a hassle kapag inabot ka ng traffic kasi sarado ang session road lalo na during float and street dance parade and the best place to park is at the cathedral....

if you want a nice place to catch the best view of the float and street dance parade, better be at the session road as early as 4am. we stayed at the session road beside, below sm mall mayroong mga recraft na pwedeng pag-upuan doon... the higher the better view you can get.........

enjoy yung Panagbenga lalo na yung parade kaso sa tingin ko di na'ko babalik ulit. hindi ko kaya yung sobrang dami ng tao eh  :hilo:

For me, ito ang the best local festival. Ganda ng flower floats parade.;)

over-rated lang ang Dinagyang at Sinulog.

honga dami ng tao. traffic at hirap makakuha ng apartelle.....pero sulit naman lalo na mga kids.....
