MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE 1) The Philippine Azkals thoroughly outclassed Cambodia, 8-0, in their AFC Challenge Cup qualifying match that was suspended for more than an hour after the Rizal Memorial Stadium pitch was rendered unplayable by a heavy downpour.
Phil Younghusband scored four goals, Javier Patino marked a memorable debut with a brace (2 goals), and the Azkals seized the top spot in Group E with Sunday's win.
It was a tremendous victory for the Azkals, who came into the match looking to equal or surpass Turkmenistan's 7-0 victory against Cambodia last Friday.

Mulders was ejected,bad decision on his part. Sabi ng coach ng cambodia "azkals played like a euro team". I don't know if it's a compliment or sarcasm. Most players who were fielded were fil-euro guys. Sayang. I'm not a hater of the azkals pero maraming local talent ang nasasayang.
Back to the cambodia game,VERY NICE WIN. Goodluck sa next game

agree ako sayo bro,half fil nalang ang nagdadala ng laro,maraming local na pinoy na magagaling kaso hindi pinapansin..but anyways congratulations sa team azkals lalo silang gumagaling. taas pa ng puntos nila.

Daming homegrown na nasasayang eh

din naman sila considered na filipino team dahil di sila pure na pinoy
at di nabibgiyan halaga yung mga pinoy na nagpapakahirap dito sa pinas na mas talentado pa sa kanila
