MANILA (UPDATE) – A man was rushed to the hospital after his penis was bitten by a horse in Barangay Manuel Peralta, Malita, Davao del Sur.

The victim, 19, is currently confined in the Southern Philippines Medical Center after his horse bit his penis while he was attending to it.

He said he was surprised when the horse bit him.

"Biglaan nalang ako kinagat," he said.

His father-in-law alias "Tony," meanwhile, suspects that the horse may have been possessed by evil spirits.

"Duda ako na baka na-engkanto 'yung kabayo," he said.

Dr. Esther Cherri Rayos, Assistant City Veterinarian, said the horse may have gone out of control after being provoked.

“One of the reasons is baka na-provoke o baka nasaktan, so that’s their reaction,” she said.

Doctors are now studying whether or not the man's penis can still be salvaged.

“This is the first time I heard a horse biting an organ,” said Dr. Leopoldo Vega, chief of Southern Philippines Medical Center.

The man got married only four months ago

Ang sakit siguro nito he he he... di kaya kalaguyo nya dati ang kabayo at nagselos ha ha ha...

Ouch! one of the worst thing that can happen to a man.... kawawa naman, can't really judge to blame the horse kasi hindi ko naman alam kung ano ba ang talagang nangyari if it's provoked or not...but one thing is for sure, the guy will never look at a worse the same way again... can't believe how he got bitten if he is wearing a proper attire in attending the horse......tsk tsk tsk.....

Opo nga sir, hindi mo rin alam kung ano ang mga iniisip ng mga hayop baka kasi o akala nya pagkain o saging baka kasi nakalabas he he he...
