Which bank have you experienced a worse or bad customer service?

:-\ (1+1) catch first your 2nd +K for this topic.... actually lahat naman ng banks have their downside in terms of services... its just a matter of location.. may mga location kasi na very toxic ang pasok ng pera, like binondo, caloocan, greenhills, malabon, divisoria, etc. ... so kapag nasundan mo yung mga valued clients nila eh talaga naman aabutin ng siyam-siyam dyan... we can not enforce our own will na ma-serve tayo agad-agad, we should also look upon the wellfare of the tellers, aba, mahirap din malusutan ng fake bills or ma-short sila... my advise is that we should try depositing on their other branches which are not usually loaded with clients like us via inter-branch banking... now, the proper way of gauging banks on their bad service is on how they assist us in our business and or consumer loan applications... how fast they grant it and are documentations/requirements have been acted upon, then we can now assess how terrible this bank is as compared to your other bank...
nasa Q & A section tayo ng interactive... palagay ko wrong board ito for this post... anyways, nice topic...

Thanks Sir jamesbond, would you recommend a bank who has the largest network of branches, so you will have a lot of options to do banking?

:-\ first, i suggest that you make it a point to have at least two bank accounts on 2 different banks... this way you have more options and also more convenience... as the saying goes in local parlance, "don't put your eggs in one basket".... kapag nalaglag si basket na may lamang mga itlog eh hindi lahat mababasag... meaning may magsara mang isang bangko na kabilang ka eh hindi mawawala lahat ng pera mo...
now, kung talagang isang bangko lang ang choice mo, well, you have to consider convenience on your part.. as to which bank can give you more leeway in receiving and making your deposits/withdrawals...
right now, BDO caters a 7 day full banking hours up to 7:00pm sa mga SM Malls, their branches located aside from malls have 5 days only... ma-tao nga lang at worse nakatayo ka sa pila, hehehehe... okay na din ito for starters sa business, why? because you can fund your issued checks paid to your various obligations even in the evening and on weekends... as to quality, hmmm.... ok lang... hahahaha... lengya, mahirap mag-elaborate dito hahahaha...
if you dont need a 7 day banking needs, pinaka para sa akin na bank is BPI... this is where the elites park their deposits based on its well stabilized manner of handling their institution... kumbaga sa kotse eh Mercedes-Benz toh hahahaha... iba kasi kapag nadidinig or nalalaman ng mga ka-transaction mo na account holder ka ng BPI, mataas ang pag-uri nila sa iyo... in terms of service? the best ito...
if you dont like my above suggested banks to you, you should try naman the list of Top Ten banks in the Philippines today... at jan mo i-based naman ang preferred choice mo.. i dont have the current list right now for your much needed perusal but its worth looking up to...

matagal na ata akong di nakakapunta sa banko e. years and years na.

BPI is in the top of my list of banks with awful service.
Next is Metrobank.
RCBC is number 3.
BDO is marginally better than RCBC.
Rounding out my top 5 is Hongkong Bank.
The best banks in terms of people, system and service have all been taken over by the bigger banks.
I enjoyed banking with Far East Bank, IBank, and GE Money Bank.
These three have the best systems before. Sadly, the banks who took over their operations didn't implement their systems.

-
I would agree with most pf our pt members. BPI is on the top if customer service satisfaction, security and stability. You don't have to wait long lines standing.

Magbayad muna daw P100 or P100/page. Not sure sa details nung payment.
-
Never liked BDO and Metrobank. Metrobank in particular is kinda old school.
I like BPI and Citibank. Both have machines you can use to make a deposit even on weekends and if you don't feel like going inside the bank to fill forms and all that jazz. They also have an iPhone app, so it works great for me. I'm sure the others have too, but I'm only speaking from personal knowledge of these two banks.
-
BPI, as in lahat talaga ng branch nila ang pangit ng waiting system nila. almost more than 1 hour palagi pila ko pag nagdedeposit. Hahaha
-
Wala na amor ko sa BDO because kahit na marami silang branches, sangkatutak na din naman ang tumatangkilik sa kanila kaya most of the time ay ang haba na din ng pila when you need to transact with their tellers. May instance na din na I was trying to get something resolved via their call center and the simple matter took me more than an hour on the phone and ang malupit pa dun eh hindi naman na resolbahan yung concern ko.
-
Di tulad ng BPI o Metrobank na kahit madaming tao, may transaction number ka at nakaupo ka while waiting for your number to be flash on the screen/monitor.
-
Bdo wala man lang upuan sa pila
-
-
standard charter, I wont deal with this bank anymore promise!
-

it is not the bank but the people working in the bank... lalo na dito sa pilipinas wala pong kaalam alam magpahalaga sa customer.
kaya ako pagnasapila ako tapos iisa lang ang nagtatrabaho na teller.. i go to the manager and ask her to do my transaction or find somebody to hasten the flow... i'll ask the manager in a loud enough voice so everybody in the queue can here and so can all other employees. I don't care, they earn by doing business with me so I demand service. So should all of you....
-
Buti separate nila ang line for bills payment, single transaction, at multiple transactions.
-
I won't invest my money on a bank that will ask me to wait for an hour to transact an account. That is just totally unacceptable.

sakin ang hindi magandang experience ko ay sa BDO lalo na yung mga provincial branches nila. one nagdeposit ako nun ng pera ng company sa kanila cnabihan ako na i kailangan daw ung pera dapat pare pareha ung facing and i sort out ko daw ung old bills sa new bills. amf ang dami pa nmn nun. :o
-
BDO.
Peace out!
-
Bdo
-
-
Hayop na BPI. Nagc-charge ng 100 pesos para sa over the counter withdrawal. Tapos 20k lang ang ATM withdrawal per day. Pahirapan pang i upgrade yung card para pwede mag 50k per day. Mga bwisit.
-
so far bpi for me... tagal ng service.. they should add more counters para di naman maghintay ng oras and mga clients nila just to make a deposit.
-
Landbank.
-
Business bank. Bulok at luma system nila.

Whoa... how did you know this?
If there's proof, he/she can actually get removed. Part of most (if not all) banks' codes of conduct is not engaging in concubinage...

-
Pero kung nasubukan mo ng magkaroon nang maraming banks and merong transactions on a daily basis, you will realize na si landbank ang pinaka worst bank. I had a few problems with BDO, not so much with BPI and UnionBank. So far, okay ako sa PSBank and RBank.
But of course, you cannot blame Landbank, I mean, most of their equipment is based on a government bidding (lowest bidder).
