Title: Currency Trading (FOREX)
Post by: TechniMental on September 10, 2013, 02:20:00 PM
Since no one has started a thread about forex trading, I would like to step up and inform every member of this online community the basics of the foreign exchange market.

What is the Foreign Exchange Market?

sir, ano pong mas risky forex trading or stock trading? parang mahirap yata ang forex sabi nila para ka daw nagsusugal.

Since no one has started a thread about forex trading, I would like to step up and inform every member of this online community the basics of the foreign exchange market.

What is the Foreign Exchange Market?
  • Referred to as “Forex”, “FX”, “Spot FX”, “Spot”
  • Over-the-Counter Market
  • Buying and Selling of Foreign Currencies Exist
  • Largest Financial Market in the World
  • Closest Market to the Ideal Perfect Competition
  • Highly Volatile and Liquid: Almost $4 Trillion Daily Volume
  • Prices Change: 20 Times/Minute or Up to 18,000 Times/Day

Sir, I believe na kapag hindi mo alam ang ginagawa mo, mapa-forex man or stocks, it is the same thing as gambling. Regarding sa comparison ng risks, I have to agree na mas volatile nga sa forex. As I have stated sa first post ko, "Prices Change: 20 Times/Minute or Up to 18,000 Times/Day.”

But then again, “In today’s rapidly changing world, the people who are not taking risk are the risk takers.” -Robert Kiyosaki

I am still involved in stocks, pero more on investing, not trading (there is a difference). There are a couple of reasons that I have posted in my blog on why I made the switch. You can check it out if you want: http://forexfilipino.blogspot.com/ (http://forexfilipino.blogspot.com/)

No problem sir. What do you mean iniinvest kong company? If you are talking about stocks, meron akong apat na companies na hawak. Sa stocks po long term ako (investing), and sa forex po short term ako (trading).

I cannot guarantee you anything sir, kasi may risk lagi na involved. But if you are asking is kung possible bang kumita and yumaman, yes, it is very much possible, just like how this man made $1 billion in one day (http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/08/george-soros-bank-of-england.asp).

Okay sir, let me know what you think and if you have questions just email me or leave a comment.

A Classic Double Bottom for the Aussie Bulls

In the H4 chart, price movements appear to have formed a double bottom – a bullish reversal pattern. Failing to breach the neckline, or the 0.85536 resistance-turned-support area, will serve as strong confirmation that the pattern will prevail.

Note: the depth of the double bottom pattern is around 3000 points.

Foreign exchange trading is a risky investment; therefore every client is expected to understand the inherent pros and cons of trading and at the same time their own risk tolerance before deciding to enter the market.

Please note that MetisEtrade does not offer any account management services. In the case of clients who choose to allow a third party to manage their fund, they are advised to review the merits of their chosen fund manager, through careful consideration of their historical performance and strategies in order to make an informed decision.

MetisEtrade will not be held liable for any issues clients may have with their third party managed accounts as the agreement is purely between the client and the third party. In addition MetisEtrade advices its clients that past performance is not indicative of future performance. For any questions, concerns or feedback, please contact me at 0917-8072979.
