The first thing I bought with my salary?
A pair of Hush Puppies shoes.
As for the first gadget I bought with my salary? An HP laptop, back in November 2007 (6 months after I started working). It was top of the line at that time, costing around US$2000 (I bought it in the US). I sold it to my best friend two years ago; he claims it's still working well to this day.

Hmm... Ano nga ba...?
First money I earned I gave it to my parents, I was in elementary at the time and I really didn't put much thought into it. They bought me a toy or something if tama pagka alala ko. I am debating with myself, if it was a GI Joe or a Ninja Turtle.
Before that, aside from the small purchases, most money I earned I put into savings. I don't often buy things for myself, honestly most of my clothes and apparel are gifts. Even some stuff that I'm thinking of buying minsan may mabibigay nalang. Law of attraction at work? Probably. Extremely lucky guy? Hell yes.
Anyway naalala ko my first purchase that made me feel like an actual adult was this old Samsung CRT TV that they had for a bargain. She still works fine until now, and it is still being used in another room.
Those things are like tanks!

I worked during summers since I graduated HS. I got odd jobs. Gardener, taga-timpla ng kape, taga-buhat ng steel frames, etc.
My first salary was P 180 pesos for a full day's work of carrying steel frames. I remember buying Kowloon Jumbo Siopao (25 pesos at that time) for my father and siblings. The change I handed to my father who gave it back to me.

My first job is "fryman" sa jollibee then yun unang sweldo ko duon ibinili ko ng adidas t shirt na untill now mabalasik pa rin ang dating .. hehe nakita ko kasi last dec nung nag bakasyon ako .. suot ni tatay .. ansabi ko hala!! Buhay pa? Antikas pa rin eh

unang sweldo ko nun i remember tinago ko pa sa loob ng sapatos ko hehe. paano ca$h pa ang pasuweldo sa amin nun, di pa tseke or direct deposit sa atm. takot ako sa snatcher eh. di ko na maalala kung anong binili ko nun pagkatapos..... aha alam ko na, nag anito ata kami ng gf ko hehe.

first salary ko sa unang matinong work ko after college.. i bought flowers for my mother isang dosena. kasi di ko siya nabigyan ng flowers kahit kelan nung buhay pa siya eh :'( :'( :'( saka ko lang siya nabiyan kung kelan patay na siya.
meron naman ako nabigay sa mom ko when she was still alive but that are just gifts that doesn't have much meaning to make. nung buhay pa mom ko pag may money ako i just spent it to non sense na mga bagay bagay.. i did not pay attention in showing her my appreciation for taking care of us. i've missed out the chances where i could have done a lot of things just to let her know how much i love her. kasi akala ko walang mangyayari eh mali pala. my mom got sick & the worst we were financially down that time dahil sa sakit niya, sobrang dami na ng gasto para sa pagpapagamot. that time i just finished college & i was having problem getting a job. hopeless talaga.. padiskarte diskarte lang ako that time sa online gaming, benta ng gamit, benta ng character. she already passed away by that time that i got a job. too many regrets.. too may failures.. hahayz :'( :'( :'(
