Title: How to Create Wealth: Five Step Transformation - Financial Struggle to Abundance
Post by: fayt on August 06, 2013, 09:00:04 PM

How come only 1% of our population seems to know how to create wealth?

Here's the thing: Your mindset is the ground zero to start at for how to create wealth.

Our society weighs too much on the value of IQ and education, and this creates a big problem with EQ - emotional intelligence- which is equally as important, if not more important in creating wealth.

People who know they don't score high in IQ and perhaps have not had the chance to go to college have a tendency not to believe in themselves... and it's just easier to make excuses and blame others for their own short comings in life.

Ah, but belief - that's the most important part when it comes to how to create wealth!

"Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, either way, you're right!"
... Henry Ford

So now that I got that out of the way, let's lay out the Five-Step "Formula for How to Create Wealth" from financial struggle...

1) Believe in yourself.

This may be easier said than done. You must remind yourself on a constant and continual basis that you have something special to offer - something that no one else has. This can be reinforced by staying aware of when you're doing something right, and focusing on the success feeling it brings. Incantations and medication also play a big part in this personal development process.

Doing a selfless act of kindness each day has an unbelievable profound way of boosting your own sense of self-worth. And it's people who believe that they are worth something to society who tend to become successful.

2) Find something that you feel truly passionate about to pursue.

No matter how devoted of a hard-worker you might be, the fact remains that if you don't like it, you won't keep doing it forever. Therefore, it would not be a waste of time to dive a little into your own psyche and find your passion.

It has been said that people who know how to create wealth know to find something that they really enjoy doing where they can make money while they're doing it...

Why? Well, that brings us to number three...

3) Persistence.

If you really love what you're doing, you'll find yourself working at it while time seemingly stops... it's more important than stopping to each lunch or going to bed. It's more important than anything else you can think of.

When you think about it, isn't that what the 1%ers are doing? Aren't they passionate about what they do for a living and seem to work at it 24/7?

They don't stop as soon as they hear a whistle blow with anticipation of going home and watching TV. They keep going - and going. And yes, there are some who seem to just "have it lucky" when we look at them from the outside.

But unless their riches came solely from inheritance (which, let's face it, can always be exhausted) they no doubt were diligent workers in the beginning stages of their business building career.

For example, there was Col Sanders who pitched his chicken recipe to nearly 1000 different restaurant owners before his recipe was accepted - even for free!

And Sylvester Stallone was living in poverty and gave up his dog for food money and still would not accept a generous offer to buy his "Rocky" story, because he knew he wanted to stay "hungry for success" to bring him to the successful actor he is today.

And Babe Ruth was considered the "strikeout king" as much as the "home run king", because he actually struck out more times than any other player in history!

And there's the orphan and famous author, Wayne Dyer, who put himself through college as a grocery bagging boy. He began his writing career by actually purchasing a truck load of his own book and storing them in his garage to give the appearance that the book was well-liked.

All the above success stories have something in common... and that brings us to the fourth factor in knowing how to create wealth...

4) Be willing to take risks for what you believe in.

Many of us think that if something is going to cost a few bucks than we had better not venture into it. But any successful business owner can tell you that you don't start a business, any business, and begin turning profit right off the bat. Most restaurants will be in the red by thousands for years before things turn around. And, here again, going back to number 1 - it's that belief that makes things turn around!

Many of your wealthiest people have received their fortunes from investments - and not guaranteed investments either! Land is a good bet these days, but you still have to be committed to putting out the money and waiting for as long as it takes before the market changes and the value goes up.

5) Invest in a good business.

When you take all of items 1-4 into account, weighing all options carefully, what business is best for you? Obviously, continuing to work your day job and living paycheck to paycheck is no road to wealth.

However, when you find a business that will allow you to do what you really love doing, in alignment with your own beliefs and values, something you can be sure you'll be persistent at because you love it so much, go ahead and take that risk plunge.

The secret to how to create wealth is really a road that you travel, always learning and growing along the way.
