Hindi umano ikinakahiya ng nanalo sa "smallest pennis" competition sa New York ang kaniyang titulo.
Napag-alaman na nakuha ni Nick Gilronan, 27, ang $200 na premyo nang manalo sa nasabing kompetisyon sa harap ng higit 100 katao.
Ang ibang mga sumali ay nagsuot ng mask upang hindi makilala pero si Gilronan ay hindi itinago ang mukha.
Aniya, "confident" daw siya sa kaniyang katawan kaya hindi na kailangang magsuot ng maskara.
Para sa kaniya, kasiyahan daw ang naturang kompetisyon at gustong magpasaya ng tao kaya natutuwa na nagbunga naman ang kaniyang pagsisikap.
"I'm very confident in my body, so [there was] no need to wear a mask," ani Gilronan. "I looked at the contest as a fun and entertaining event and intended to put on a good show for the audience. Looks like my efforts were successful."
Aniya, ang media ang dapat sisihin sa negatibong reaksyon ng mga tao sa maliit na ari.
Giit pa nito, hindi naman mahalaga ang laki ng ari sa pagkatao o sa isang relasyon.
Ganito rin aniya sa size ng dibdib ng mga babae pero ang media aniya ang nagpi-pressure sa mga tao.
"The size of a man's penis does not matter for who he is as a person or in a relationship," paliwanag pa ni Gilronan. "Same thing with breast size. We're all made in different shapes and sizes, but the media puts pressure on people to look a certain way.
"Most people do not look that way. Some people let that false sense of body image upset them, and they shouldn't be upset at all.
"Even worse, some people use those false standards and judge other people. It's disconcerting."
Gilronan's triumph perhaps illustrates that size does indeed matter -- at least, when it comes to self-esteem.
