In just a few hours, the President of the Philippines, President Benigno "Noynoy" Aguino III, would deliver his SONA 2013...
Improvements and growth in terms of our country's stability and status of the economy...
MANILA, Philippines—The Senate and House of Representatives elected two staunch allies of President Benigno Aquino III as their heads for the 16th Congress Monday.
Senator Franklin Drilon garnered 17 votes while closest rival and former president Juan Ponce Enrile had 6, giving the Liberal Party luminary his third chance to lead the upper chamber of Congress.
At the House of Representatives, Congressman Feliciano Belmonte Jr., LP vice chairman, was re-elected as Speaker.

this is as expected, noong mag-resign si enrile as senate-president. matunog na matunog yung pangalan ni drillon na papalit at dahil LP ang current admin so wala talagang kataka-taka. at sa panig naman ng lower house... is still as expected...
As expected, only good things will be said during SONA and still different groups will still say its not enough.... for me, i think the president is doing his best to achieve his goal "Daang matuwid" but being a president for only 6 years, will not be enough to stop corruption or minimize it drastically.... the problem is rooted since the beginning of the philippine republic that accumulates in time up to the present...i think it will take 15 president straight that are serious enough to battle corruption, to subdue it....
