Letran player Franz Dysam and his wife were shot at the corner of N. Domingo and Araneta Avenue after the Knight's game on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.

In an interview with DZBB, San Juan City police chief Senior Superintendent Bernard Tambaoan earlier narrated that the player is responsive, but the wife was in a more serious condition.
 
"Critical ang babae, sana ma-pass ang critical stage. Ang lalaki nakakausap," said Tambaoan.
 
Dysam's wife Joanne was declared "expired' at 8pm, according to Letran ManCom member Fr. Vic Calvo, while the player remains stable and conscious. GMA News Online obtained the exclusive report from fullcourtfresh.com's Merck Maggudayao, who got the confirmation from Fr. Calvo at the San Juan Medical Center.

The Letran Twitter account added that the cager sustained a total of six gunshot wounds in the chest, hip and thigh areas. Dysam's wife, on the other hand, was only shot once, but it was enough to be fatal.

The incident happened after Letran's 61-52 win over the Lyceum Pirates. Dysam had two rebounds and an assist in nine minutes of play. - GMA News

i think its not about basketball yan, hindi naman kagalingan yan right? sabi sa isa report, yung girl daw may ex lover na cop.

the motive is not yet clear, but this has something with personal than the game itself.

another violence... kawawa naman yung victim... hope they catch the suspect para naman mabigyan ng hustisya yung mga victim

I hope this case will be resolved, and not be forgotten like the FEU shooting incident a few years back.
