I don’t hide I am a die hard Superman fan. I actually have the limited edition Superman #78D Reign of Supermen kung saan pinatay ni Doomsday si Superman at nagumpisa ang reign of supermen.
Going back to the movie Man of Steel, sinabi nila na kung kumita to, it will pave the way for a sequel and ultimately the introduction of the Justice League of America where Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonderwoman, the Flash and Aquaman will be featured. This will compete with the Marvel’s Avengers and could historically be one of the biggest films. But unlike sa Marvels where they obviously put the connections on each superheroes movies, sa Man of Steel, you will not notice it unless you observe it with a keen eye.
Here are the signs. Spoiler Alert sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood.
Sa 3rd battle act ni Superman and General Zod, may isang scene where LexCorp building was shown. LexCorp is owned by Lex Luthor, Superman’s arch enemy. This subtle scene may mean a sequel where the actual Luthor character may show up.
In the same continuation of the fight, napunta sa space si Superman and Gen Zod hit him with an orbiting satellite. The satellite has a trademark Wayne Enterprises which we all know is owned by Bruce Wayne aka Batman. Ibig sabihin nito na Batman and Superman exist in the same universe (as DC comics always portray events occuring in parallel universe).

Sa scene na pumasok si Clark Kent inside the Kryptonian ship (Fortress of Solitude), may isang cryogenic sarcophagus na walang laman. Which means the occupant who also came from Krypton is now living somewhere on Earth. Pwede tong maging daan to start an offshoot na may isa pang superhero the likes of Superman in Earth. Could it be Supergirl?

Lastly, yung military girl at the end who said “He’s kinda hot” referring to Superman. She’s Carol Ferris. Carol Ferris was the love interest of Hal Jordan also known as Green Lantern.

Another interesting point in the movie where Superman was going to stop the world alterring engine sa Indian Ocean, Henry Cavill somehow morphed into the image of the late Christopher Reeve.

Wow. Pretty good observations. Honestly I wasn't able to catch any of those when I watched the movie. Perhaps I should watch it again. Thanks sir.

Holy son of the bread (anak ng tinapay)! We do have those 2 characters sa PT and are very active sa discussion.
I'm so honored to be in the company of superheroes here. Kaya pala wala ng maligtas sina star sapphire at green lantern e nagbababad dito sa pinoytambay.
