Title: Steps to Avoid being FIRED even before You are HIRED.
Post by: dakilang mangangalakal on June 11, 2013, 08:03:54 AM
1. Come Early.

If the company says you to be there at 8am then be there few minutes before the said time. Being tardy on your first encounter with your future employer reflects your attendance when you're already hired.

2. Look Neat.

Grooming is an important factor. Even though you are not that pretty or handsome as long as you are neat. You're clothing suggest a lot about you. Wear appropriate dress.

3. Be Humble.

Most applicants now a days would tell lies about their achievements and for things they haven't done. We don't exactly care of what you know but we are more focused on what you can do. Less talk... prove it. Rather than impressing the employer, they tend to boast.

4. Don't be arrogant.

Some applicants are so arrogant. As if they are already a part of the company. They would even say what "time" you should call them and "how" you should "call" them. So funny I meet people like this everyday and, how funnier, I never read a single word in their resume. I throw their resume in the trash can. Never ever ask if you are hired right away, like - "Makukuha po ba ako? kse kung hindi may nagoofer kse rin sa akin sa _ _ _   kaya sabihin ninyo po ng masmaaga." You are fired even before you're hired.

5. Know something about the Company.

Convince your employer that you did not apply by chance but by decision. It is  good you know something about your employer. Some apply for a position they don't even know. Well'', I didn't know how foolish fresh graduates are... now a days.

6. Bring original copies of important documents.

We would be happy to see the original copies of your credentials and other documents you place in your RESUME. We have several cases from the past that they tried to "photoshop" their employent certificate, seminar certificates and even grades...

7. Too Many Previous Employments ( Not for Fresh Applicants )

Your employer doesn't see it a plus point if the longest period you stayed in a company is less than one year. Worse if less than 3 months. And all your previous employments were 3mo to 6mo. Worst is when you have more than 1 employer and less than 3months stint in a year. It means you have a problem.

8. Pass a complete Resume.

Your resume must not lie. It must contain the contact number of your character references and you have asked for the permission of these people to be included in your resume.

Nice information sir...

All of those mention are prerequisite.. Its how you manner during interview is a very essential in employment. A bit of arrogant is okay just to show a little bit confidence in you.

Tanong lang ts, ikaw lang ba gumawa ng list o may source? Karma for you.

tama nga ang naka-post dito.... for me that really work is humbleness but still show what you can do..... and being friendly is a plus factor kasi most of the time it doesn't matter kung gaano ka katagal sa kompanya kung wala ka namang kakilala.... lagi kang maba-bye pass sa mga promotion.....
