Indeed Ms. Rai, but going to an EB involves a significant effort on the person's part, and thus this is only usually done when the said person has already made up his or her mind to reveal his or her identity. And in an EB, you also learn the identities of the people who you meet - it works both ways.
This is unlike posting a (real) picture of oneself in a forums, where many people lurk behind the shadows in a mask of anonymity - you cannot know who they are, but they can know who you are.

but then, i cant simply expose my photo online sa dami na ng na i share ko dito.. i am a teacher, a theater actress, and a part time band vocalist.... madaming nakakakilala sa kin...
pero im not that tough naman.. kasi at times, for those na na earn na yung trust ko, i show my face naman on cam.. para to prove din na im a real person and not a robot.. :)

Yeah, keeping some level of anonymity is better. Another reason is that it's nice to know that people can accept you and befriend you not because of physical aspects. Ako yang avatar ko is my real pic. I have also pics online pero I seldom post my real name.

well in my case kasi if someone would go through my previous posts,,they can easily identify me kung kilala talaga nila ako,,lahat kasi ng posts ko dito are based on my experiences and views....mapa adult section man or wholesome

kung tutuusin wala namang masama gumamit ng pics mo dito sa site eh,.. parang fb lang to... as long as wala kang ginagawang mali, pwedi mong gamitin pics mo as avatar, besides hindi naman nila macocopy yan as long as hindi mo siya nilalagay sa album mo... macocopy man nila pero ing thumbnail size lang... lol

Walang kamatayang "For security reason" lalo na kapag may binabahagi kang kakaiba, or mali sa ibang mata ng tao .. at para din mailabas mo ang mga nasa saloobin mo ng walang agam-agam .. kung gusto nyo makikilala ang isang tao pwede nyo naman sya iPM, or tignan sa kung may Members gallery sa isang forum, mag-attend ng Eyeball kung aattend sya or kung gusto mo rin makilala/makita mo ang ibang ka-miyembro mo sa isang Forum site ..
pero hindi rin maiiwasan ang poser kung litrato lang o mababa ang post activity/participation nya sa social networking site lalo na kapag magaling na poser ..

Hindi naman siguro na may pinagtataguan sila or ano pa man, dahil kanya kanya lang dahilan iyan , dati ganyan din ako ayaw ko mag post ng picture ko dahil ang daming makakakita doon at baka meron pala akong kilala na nasa pt din at malaman na nag popost ako ng mga matured dito hahahah.
Pero ayaw ko naman kasi maging poser kaya hayun nung time na madami pa kaming mga magugulo SB at forum naglabasan mga picture namin.
