Dapat bang payagan na tulungang mamatay ang isang taong nais ng tapusin ang kanyang buhay due to terminal illness? May nabasa ako na mahigit sa 60% ng sinurvey ang pabor pero nandoon pa rin ang moral question kung tama nga ba to.

Mahirap. Sobrang subjective. I remember reading about this old lady in the US who sends you a plastic bag and helium gas? (Not sure) for a small fee, to assist you.. or Kervokian I think his name was? Al Pacino portrayed him.
Anyway it is a moral conundrum if you ask me. Mahirap talaga. Madali kasi mag salita, pero pag ikaw na yung nag hihirap everyday eh ibang usapan na. I'm not for it, pero I am not totally against it either. Siguro really extreme cases?

Papayag lang ako sa ganito if most of the vital organs of my love one does not function the way it used to be... Kumbaga, aparato na lang ang nagpapagana sa kanya... Syempre mahirap mag decide ng ganito pero kung nakikita mo na halos wala ng buhay ang mahal mo sa buhay at hirap na hirap na sa kalagayan.. Then magreresort na ako sa ganito para hindi na rin sya mahirapan
If there is a chance even 1% that he/she will survive and will surpass his/her worse condition. Then a big NO NO to this...

fayt, you may be confusing euthanasia with pulling the plug from a loved one who's in a vegetative state, comatose o brain dead. May guilt feeling din but it's not considered assisted suicide if you agree to turn off the life support.
