Sa tingin ko lang kaya pa niya... Nag-iimprove pa siya e... katulad nung laban niya with JMM kaya sana yun e naunahan lang talaga, nanggigil din kasi sya nung last round na yun.
Tingin ko di naman issue ang religion e, kahit anung relihiyon pa ang lipatan niya hindi namn demonyo ang sinasamba niya e. Its just the method that's change but he's still singing praise to the one and true God.
Distractions lang talaga with politics and show business ang sumisira sa kanya. If he wants to pursue politics or stardom hang the gloves, if he wants to fight forget everything else for the time being. Loses like the one he had against JMM can either make or break a boxer, choice niya yun kung san siya pupunta.

I still believe in Pacquio, he just need more concentration and focus and a lot of training......naniniwala pa rin ako na lucky punch ang nangyari sa kanya and he is still explosives as before.....people goes up and down the canvass, kikilalanin ko pa rin syang champ kahit pa matalo siya ng matalo.....ito lang ang magagawa ko kasi by all means he is still someone na nagpasikat sa Pilipinas bilang boksingero....if i support him before when he still on top, then i will still support him kahit wala na siya doon.....more power Mr. Pacquiao

and if i may add to it, leave politics behind, win his coming fight and make it his last, then invest on sports by becoming a promoter himself and invest his money wisely... and when he gets old write a bio of himself, so that the next generation of ring fighters will learn from it.
Ito yata ang kulang sa ating sports program. We should document life stories of our great athletes so that young people can read it. The likes of Lydia De Vega(track and field), Paeng Nepumuceno(Bowling), Caloy Loyzaga(Basketball) and a lot more. :P

physically i think he still has a good 2 yrs, pero mentally, i think wala na yung hunger nya, dahil din siguro narating na nya ang top at yumaman na sya wala na sya dapat patunayan. pag lumalaban kasi sya ngayon parang pera pera na lang lagi, imbis na mag training sa wild card ng babasketball lng sa bakuran nya tsk.

Yup, tama yung iba, he should have focused on Boxing instead of POLITICS. pwede naman sya tumulong without pursuing it e. Nawala focus sa boxing, too many distractions. I don't know nung naging religious si Pacquiao bigla, nawala yung beast mode nya. I read in an article about before the fight with Marquez (most recent fight), napansin nung writer na ang daming distractions nya. Pinaka napansin nya is yung mga pag asikaso nya sa mga religious group nya at sa pastor nya (which actually sinagot nya lahat ng plane tickets at hotel room service nila, mga Freeloaders) na instead of mentally focusing on how to solve Marquez, e nakaabala pa daw yung Pastor. Would love to share the article but i didn't save the link e. Also kung di sya politician, he could have added more training time and stayed in good condition

The fire in him is definitely not there lately, pero hopefully the last fight was a wake up call, and this one would be better. If talo parin, I suppose that formidable fighter that we all knew is really gone and should really consider retiring before he becomes more irrelevant in the boxing world.

counter punch is all about timing.. and marquez is one of the best in that field
so no shame about it. 'cause manny got careless and he's all to blame on that..
in fights like boxing and other contact sports there is no such thing as luck
it's all about taking advantage on opportunity when it presents itself..

I was hoping for this dream fight too but I'm afraid that ship had sailed buddy. Nothing would give me more satisfaction than to see one of our boys shut that guy up.
Anyway we'll see. Depende siguro if he will show that not only he still has it but got even better than he was a year ago. Perhaps if the fight was undoubtedly his, and he was able to deliver a KO maybe the clamor for that "Mayweather vs Pacman" fight will start gaining traction again.

yep, bradley is a tough defensive boxer. kung totoo nga na humina ang suntok ni pacman malabo niya mapapabagsak si bradley. in his last 7 fights lahat decision ang result ng laban (maliban lang dun sa ko loss niya kay marquez) well he can still win by points pero hindi na ganun kaexciting hindi katulad dati na lagi mong ina-anticipate na mapapatulog ni pacman yung kalaban.

I wouldn't say na he has toned down bagkus he has evolved and learned. For starters hindi talaga maaappreciate ng mga lay persons ang manny rios-fight kasi its full of technicalities. Boxing isn't about brawling, malaking ang pagkakaiba ng dalawa kung gusto mo nang bugbugan manuod ka na lang ng asiong salonga o fpj films, hindi nasusukat sa mga baduy na basagan ng mukha ang talent ng isang boxer kung ganun eh ano pa ang pinagkaiba ng away kanto sa sport? Sa Manny-Rios fight hindi lang power ang pinakita ni Manny kung di insight, spatial awareness at seasoned knowledge, skills na hindi basta2x lang matututunan that it takes a lot of battles para matututunan mo yun.
Hindi rin natin masasabi na ang PPV sales ang nagiging sukatan para sabihing laos na si pacman for the following reasons.
1. Alam halos lahat ng boxing fanatic kung sino ang mananalo sa fight na yun ergo they didn't even bother to avail of the PPV.
2. Alam ng mga mananaya at professional gamblers kung sino ang mananalo as a matter of fact ang $500 mo ng time na yun kung kay pacman ka eh mananalo laman ng $100 a BIG difference as to rios na ang $100 ay mananalo ng $300 (triple ang kita) thus malaki rin ang impact sa PPV.
3. Although A championship match eh hindi naman ganun ka relevant si Rios sa boxing scene, he has yet to prove himself ergo hindi sikat ang kalaban ni Manny so why bother paying for a PPV?

I am not a Manny fan ever since sa career ni Manny but I think he should get credit from that fight.

well, he is now better boxer now pero mas type ko pa din yung dating fighting style ni pacman basagan ng mukha siguro nakasanayan ko lang na ganun lol siguro habang tumatanda eh kelangan niya magadapt sa pagbaba ng punching power niya so maybe that is his answer, being more a technical boxer (though boring for me). hindi pa naman laos si pacman, though bumababa na ang popularity niya, walang masyadong thrash talk plus yung kalaban niya just what sir charlie said wala pang napapatunayan. i think that's the difference nila ni mayweather, alam ni money kung paano i-hype yung laban niya lol

In my part pinapanuod ko atleast 3 times ang isang match.
1 viewing is for entertainment purposes, let's face it we all want blood in a match.
2 viewing is for timing, power and form of punches and rhythm.
3 fluidity of execution, other techniques shown, wastage of both form and function.

nandon pa din naman ang fighting style ni pacman, kaso lang alam naman nating lahat na medjo godfearing na siya kya i think pinartidahan nya lang yung last fight nya. yung susuntukin na lang nya pero aatras siya, may awa na si pacman. pero wala na tayong magagawa don, ganyan na talaga ang siguro ang "new pacman" ngayon.

Obviously Manny still has it considering his age. pero tama medyo naging God-Fearing na nga si Manny. sana after the fight na lang, pag nasa ring ibang Manny sana ang gusto natin makita. No Mercy.
