Title: Brain or Heart?

We've seen people benefiting others. Some call them users some call them smart people. We've also seen people who are really blinded by love, some call them fools some call them true lovers. Merong naghihirap ka pero nagmamahal o nakukuha mo lahat ng gusto mo bukod sa pagmamahal? Kayo, which side would you choose?

I'll go for the "heart", in life if i'm not mistaken there is no such thing called "heart dead" but there's what we call "brain dead". The brain can only take you up to things you know, but the heart will guide you to things you feel wether you know it or not. The heart feeds the brain not the other way around, so for me, heart is life itself that brings us Faith, Hope, and Love where love is the greatest.

Brain sakin. Hindi naman ibig sabihin nito ay makisama sa hindi mo mahal. Hindi rin yung ang pipiliin ay opposite ng gusto ng puso mo. Magisip lang din kumbaga kung ano magiging kakalabasan na pasya.

Bigay ako ng tunay ng example.

Lalaki may tatlo ng anak sa isang babae na hindi niya rin pinakasalan.
Nambabae kasi ang dahilan eh gusto niya ng lalaking anak.

Babae sa madaling salita nabuntis at nagkababy ng lalaki.

Tanong what if itong si babae eh girl ang naging baby. Try ulit si Lalaki kay Babae or sa iba ulit?

Bakit maraming single mother?

Ito ang sagot. Hiramin ko lang linya ni Imoy  "but the heart will guide you to things you feel wether you know it or not. The heart feeds the brain not the other way around, so for me, heart is life itself that brings us Faith, Hope, and Love where love is the greatest." <= ito mismo yung sinunod nung babae tapos ung anak iniwan sa magulang kasi kailangan magtrabaho. Yung lalaki naman kakarampot ang sweldo hahatiin pa sa mga anak. Nakikisama pa sa lalaki kasi masarap kasama ang minamahal ng puso?

Love bring happiness to the heart but also it is moral obligation and responsibility to your partner/family.

Ill choose brain..for me brain is the controler of everything in our body..so as long as gagamitin ko ang utak ko i think everything will be okey..cguro namn kung gustuhin kong magmahal nasa sakin na yon pag isipan ng mabuti kung yon ba ang gusto ko o hinde..o kayay magpaka hard headed stubborn at manatiling single forever..naalala ko lng yong kasabihan nung elementary pa ako..Na bago mo sabihin at gawin makapitong iisipin.... ::)

Andaming brain ah. Haha! Well it's true brain controls all of the body including the heart, literally. And from benefits matututo mo siyang mahalin. Pero can love be really be met through rational tgoughts?

We cannot really choose. One cannot do without the other. haha Just to be on the thread if I have to choose I say the brain. Like everyone said here the brain controls everything. The heart is where our emotion comes from. When we are being emotional, that it overwhelms our rational thought that's when  trouble starts. Like when a person is in love. Just one little example.The heart will say I love him/her so much I can't live without him/her. Then the brain will say you can't love him/her he/she is our cousin. haha There is always some form of battle going on. But at the end the brain is the one to make the right or wrong decision. As we all know in some situation it's much more complicated than that. :)

good question, and i really think that rational thinking can the word love. bakit kamo, i've seen a lot of people which is highly intellectual but still failed when it comes to love. I can understand that the brain can control most of our body function but from what i've understand in human anatomy, the heart is the one supplying the brain oxygen thru blood cycle to function and without it the brain can not function well....rational thinking can give us reason to love then try asking your lover, gf, bf, husband or wife "why do they love you?" it is the hardest question to answer without considering their feelings.
as per experience, when i fell inlove i don't really remember the reason why, i just felt something inside of me that tells me i love her.
I know that most of us can easily pick-up the brain because we should think, we should protect ourself from pain, etc... but this just mean that we haven't really found love ourselves, why? Because when someone is inlove, that someone becomes stupid and face it head-on without thinking rationally....kaya nga may kasabihang "love is blind". This is not just my experience but the experience of my friends, co-workers, their friends, my family, etc.... It is really easy to think rationally but to make it in action, that is the big question if we really can.

brain and heart....

brain is thinking what will happen in the future pag sinunod nya ang puso.... pero ang puso di alam ang hangganan ng pagmamahal na nraramdaman neto  "loving someone is not a choice its a decision" Love Isn't a Feeling, It's a Decision prin  :-\

Pero somehow it helps... Tulad ng sa akin, I've been open minded through relationships at eto ako ngayon. Single. Hahaha! Well, maybe someone may teach me a lesson about it someday...

one of the reason kasi na kapag brain ang ginamit sa pagmamahal, hindi pa dumarating ang challenges, logic says "Stop". Eh ang love is a big challenge, you will end up always on dead end....

were on the same boat, pero ako parang mas prefer ko nang maging single, mahirap talaga kasi pag malambot puso mo..

Yeah, i know and there were a lot of girls that i would say now na sayang ang opportunity. Na come to think kung magrereminice ako and realization I could have been happier by now...

Kasi nga po hindi nga daw tunay na nagmamahal kung hindi nasasaktan, eh tayong may logical thoughts, we prevent problems to get bigger thus kinalalabasan the girl gets bored in our relationship.

no question kung mahal mo ang isang tao madaling sabihin na heart pero what if kung complicated yung sitwasyon? dyan na papasok si brain kase titimbangin mo ang sitwasyon. kung mali talaga na ipagpatuloy pa then i'll go sa brain.

These two bastards works on different ways. Brain is to understand the situation.. While si Heart kase more on love yan, maging martyr, magpakasubsob sa pagmamahal. Sometimes naman si Brain epal, nagugulo sa situation lalo na kung umiiral si pride or alike.

In short, mahalaga tong dalawa never dapat tong dalawa paghiwalayin and you need to weigh everything before you make a decision. :)

brain. ang pagkakaalam ko kasi ang function ng heart is to pump blood. at kahit yung function na yun brain natin ang may control. saan kaya nagsimula at ginawang simbolo ng emotion ang heart. when you love someone, it is the brain that tells you na mahal mo ang sya. pag nasaktan ka, your brain tells you that you are in pain. again the heart just pumps blood. walang kakayahan yang humusga o makaramdam. wala ako sa medical field, pero sa pagkaka alala ko. nung pinag aralan namin sa highskul yung biology, yung heart yun lang ang function nya. ang besides, you can have an artificial heart but never an artificial brain.

pambasag trip ba? hehehe. napaisip lang kasi ako. dala siguro ng kabagutan.

so again, i will follow my brain.

alam mo ba na dapat sa lahat ng bagay lalo na kung sa katawan ay dapat balance para proportional lahat? ....but I must agree with you na kailangan e mas sensible ang utak kesa sa emosyon ng puso.
