True. Encountered a situation like this in Cambodia. US$ are almost universally accepted, so if you run out of local currency, small denominations of US$ will be lifesavers.

tubig, wallet (pera, atm, id), pampalit damit lalo na underwear, dati dslr pero recently palagi nalang ako gumagamit ng tablet pang picture para hindi bulky ang bitbit, saka syempre, toiletries kung walang ganun sa pupuntahan mo.

Sa panahon ngayon tagulan importante talaga magdala ng pang waterproof ng gamit, mga plasti bag lang ok na.

tips when travelling:

1) bring slippers on your carry on luggage kung gusto mong mag-tsinelas sa plane, lalo na kung mahaba byahe. Kung ayaw mo naman, hingi ka na lang ng medyas sa cabin crew, para pwede kang matanggal ng sapatos.

2) If possible, wear slip on shoes para madaling magtanggal ng sapatos sa security check.

3) Use a small shoulder bag aside from your carry on luggage para madaling maitago/madukot yung passport/ticket/boarding pass/ballpen etc.

4) Bring your laptop/tablet loaded with the latest movies if you don't want to watch those crappy in-flight movies.

5) Bring mouthwash/mint/gums if you cant bring a toothbrush/toothpaste on your carry on.
