Hello mga ka-PT.... Ano sa palagay ninyo ang pinaka-gusto ninyong car manufacturer? Any reason? How about a vote...?

I own 2 mitsubishi unit... gusto ko kasi ang pang-ilalim ng mitsubishi, at bukod dito yung service center nila eh malapit lang sa lugar namin, hindi ganun ka-mahal at hindi hirap sa piyesa.... at ang isa sa ipinagpapasalamat ko lalo na sa montero eh yung protection niya sa gilid na beam.... it really saves the life of my pasenger ng araruhin kami sa NLEX ng isang trak ng mag overtake siya sa right side.....

Toyota for it's affordability, re-sale value and spare parts availability.

To me it's Honda. Resale value is high kasi medyo expensive ang parts and genuine. So far wala pang major repair ang wheels ko kahit na 10 yrs old na. :D

Cheers!

isa sa most like cars sa Pinas dahil iba ang dating kapag ito ang dala mo... and i've heard from a friend who bought type of car na hindi ito pwedeng gawing taxi so it is really for private use only and just like what you've said, the re-sale value is higher compare to other types of cars...thank you sir

That's true. Here in Qatar di rin pwede gawing taxi ang honda except for limousine (odyssey models). And I guess it applies in whole middle east region.

Cheers!

You can't go wrong with both Toyota and Honda. Medyo spartan lang ang interior ng Toyota for my taste, pero it's reliable and will get you from point A to point B without too much fuss. As for myself, I like a little more eye candy lalo na if everyday drive.

If you would like to go American or European, Ford naman okay din, medyo costly ang parts pero the parts are easier to find compared to most European brands. Isa pang problem mo sa European if ayaw mo mag-casa, it's not as easy to look for a good mechanic na sanay jaan compared to Japanese ones. Parts kelangan mo din mag hanap ng reseller na meron niyan, if you live somewhere in Manila or QC that shouldn't be a problem. If you're in the province, well good luck with that.

European cars namely German ones can be costly pag dating sa parts, pero kung sa tibay oo matibay talaga. Don't rely on resale value, you might be surprised. Kaya if you want one of this, either it's with you for good and as collection or be prepared to take heavy loses. I have no experience with Volvo pero I've heard if safety ang gusto mo, Volvo is your brand. My friend has one too, pero the old wagon type. Still runs like a dream, pero provided well maintained yun.

I've heard good things about Hyundai too namely the Starex, matipid. Pero the Accent may nadinig ako na may knocking problem? Not sure if that was rectified.

I have no experience with Mitsubishi, pero with the popularity of the Montero, well that says something diba.

Cheers mate.

hehehe typical na babae ka nga ms Cath, bihira kasi sa babae ang ganun ka interesado sa sasakyan maliban sa i-drive. but Chevy is a good choice, i think european siya ang backlash nga lang eh kapag nasira mahirap ang pyesa and the service center is not that many unlike toyota or mitsubishi.

I know toyota here is hard to get parts i had a co worker lastyear got wrecked i mean the car is fixable so when they took it to the shop it end up to be totaled kasi there is no parts ..i never thought that they made a car then they dont make parts of it incase something happen seems to me like a disposable car tapon na lng ..anyway may insurance nman as long as full coverage ..onething i learn always have full cover insurance ..

No parts available so declared as totaled? This seems wrong. Where is this "shop" located? Didn't your co-worker opt to bring to a Toyota Casa? How old is the car?
