kung low/zero visibility, dapat mag slow down or better yet, hanap ng lugar kung san pwede mag park at mag hintay na mag improve yung situatiom.

hirap kasi dito satin, low visibility na. mag on pa ng hazard light tapos same way of driving pa rin. fast, weaving in and out of lanes. so nakakaconfuse sa ibang drivers which in turn leads to accidents.

Actually mali talaga na gumamit ng hazard light at any given situation kapag mababa ang visibility lalo na kapag may ulan at umaandar ang sasakyan. The light of the car should be on tulad ng pagdadrive kapag gabi na... ang mga taong gumagamit ng hazard kapag umaandar ang sasakyan ay nagpapatunay na kulang sila sa kaalaman sa pagmamaneho.....

Absolutely correct imoy.  Driving with other vehicles using hazard lights is uncomfortable and dangerous.  For one, the other drivers won't know the direction the vehicle with the hazard lights on is turning.

usually kasi kapag sandstorm dito at biglang walang makita, on na yung hazard lights para ready to slow down na yung kasunod lalo freeway..

They're called hazard lights for a reason. Only if the situation poses danger or threat to you and others. Rain or even snow here in Canada are commonplace. I don't think you shouldn't be using them if you're mobile.

Let us keep the roads safe.

^ yes i totally agree with sir bohica here... we use the hazard lights only when parked and having some emergency stops... we need to use the signal lights when turning left or right or for slightly changing lanes... we must educate ourselves properly in using those otherwise our lives are at the mercy of the incoming or upcoming vehicles... don't get offended just because you have been cautioned by telling you what was the right or proper usage of the hazard lights, this is our home and we intend to share and learn something from this... thanks guys for helping us all be safe in our streets... libreng aral ito at hindi kasali sa road user's tax hahahaha...

Hazard lights must be turned on during rain or visibility is low to alert any vehicles

To alert of what?  If you want to be seen turn on your tail lights.

Hazard lights should only be turned on if help is required.

Turning your hazards on makes all four turn signals flash at the same time, giving a heads-up to emergency crews that there’s a traffic hazard or problem. Bad idea.
