Mga ka-PT, ask ko lang, ilang watts ang ma-consume ng 2.5HP na aircon sa span ng 12 hours?

1 Hp = 745.7 W
kaya 2.5 Hp = 1864.25 W or 1.86425 kW
kaya sa 12 Hrs,
1.86425 x 12 = 22.371 kW-Hr

Tama ba?

yup your computation is correct sir @rodpau.... so assuming the rate of meralco is approximately Php   7.67/kwh then your total billing for the acu consumption will be:

22.371 x 7.67 = Php 171.00/ 12 hrs. of consumption

Do anybody remember how to compute an electrical load in a given Area:
  * Office Building - 3 storey + 1 basement : Total Area is 785 sq. mtr.

Sir, I don't think you can calculate electrical load based on total area only.
We have to make an assumption on what electrical components/devices will be used.
Ex.
how many aircondition units, what is the power consumption per unit
how may lights, wattage per light etc...

I think there is....This technique is usually done when u are doing a design+build package contract for a client to pay the necessary electrical fees for permit or whatsoever...As per practice (I cannot recall what was been noted on NEC70) the load wil be :
Power Load is 30 watts per sq.m
Lighting Load is 20 watts per sq.m.

the assumption is based on a maximum usage per hour... normally i get 50.00% only but this again depends on the usage of the structure i am designing...
